Julie Hayagan, 3d year in BS Information Technology bagged the Bronze medal in the recently concluded Philippine National Skills Olympics held in TESDA Center, Taguig City on  April 13, 2014.

Hayagan, representing Bicol Region   was ranked third place among the best I.T. students of the country who competed for the trade area in IT Solutions Software for Business of the PNSO.

“With the short span of training I had for this competition, I am blessed enough I was able to make it to bronze.” Hayagan said in an interview.

Coached by Edward Reyes, Hayagan won Gold medal in the Bicol Skills I.T. Olympics which was held in Daet, Camarines Norte last year.

Meanwhile, Francis Eric Tolentino of Region ranked 1st and Walter Lad of Cordillera Administrative Region ranked 2nd in this competition organized by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.

Winners on this national tilt will represent the country for an international skills competition in Vietnam.
