Panasonic, CCDI sign MOA

September 16, 2011. Panasonic System Network Philippine Corporation, represented by its Director Hirosyuki Nishida  signed up a Memorandum of Agreement with Computer Communication Development, represented by Mr. Felix G. Alfelor III, CCDI President in the deployment of CCDI graduating students particularly of Computer Hardware Servicing NC II and Consumer Electronics NC III, all offered by this institution.


“This program will really help our students apply the theoretical knowledge and instructional skills they learned from the classrooms; thus, after training this will offer employment opportunity to our graduates in the same company.” Mr. Alfelor commented.In this memorandum, OJT students of CCDI will be undergoing technical training in Panasonic for six month. Each trainee will be receiving a reasonable amount of daily allowances.

Other than CCDI, qualified tech-voc for Panasonic were: San Francisco Institute of Science and Technology, Malilipot, Albay; Computer System Institute, Legazpi City; Oliveros College, Iriga City, Philippine Computer Foundation College, Naga City; CASIFMAS, Sipocot Camarines Sur. LGU Tabaco City and LGU Iriga City had also signed partnership with the Panasonic company.


“Bicolanos are hardworking, diligent and industrious; that is why, we prioritized them in Panasonic.” According to Mr. Nishida.


Dir. Teodoro S. Sanico, Executive Director of the Office for TESDA Technology Institution personally witnessed the signing of contract in San Francisco Institute of Science and Technology, Malilipot Albay. The MOA signing is held in connection with the Opening of a Panasonic Room in the said institution.


Tabaco Mayor Krisel Lagman-Luistro expressed her deepest appreciation of Panasonic and TESDA partnership towards the development of globally competitive Filipino skilled workers.

TESDA executives also attended the MOA signing such as, Dir. Conrado G. Bares, TESDA Regional Director, Dir. Mariflor Liwanag of Albay and Camarines Sur OCI Director, Emmanuel H. Buban with SFIST Superintendent Emmanuel Sacayan.

Witnessing Mr. Alfelor are Mr. Edgar Balasta of CCDI Sorsogon and Ms. Dahlia Bolilan of CCDI Tabaco.
